ABS warning light came back on a few weeks ago and after inspection/cleaning/multimeter testing and following flow chart in FSM the diagnosis was ABS control module needed to be replaced. Was fortunate to find a donor from online seller for $25. Was able to test module by only removing cover panel/insulation above actuator and module, but to replace had to remove 4 other panels which was the hardest part of the repair. Everything back together and NO ABS light!! Tips: 1) you can test ABS control unit with only top cover removed, but I couldn’t replace it (only 2 attachment points) without removing panel behind passenger seat. 2) Alligator clips on multimeter probes helped in testing (4 LED flashes on control module which led me to test pins 32 and 18 which read OL). 3) pull ties on control module are reusable, so don’t cut them. 4) harness plug in pivots from top of module after pushing down on tab below harness.
