thanks, ill go try the 15w40 next time i change my oil, probably today since i have to change my rear diff fluid, the needle moves with the rpm changes with ease, i think it might be the guage wiring

On that Oil Change, some with higher mileage cars, especially in warmer climates even go with a 15W40 or 15W50. Although in your case the low-end readings seem fine (which they wouldn't if your Sender was clogged). These cars are known to have a somewhat erratic guage (as you can see from Manual PIC). Normally after Oil warms it tends to thin causing lower Oil pressure ...in your case it "seems" opposite. If your car has ever had a sludge build-up in the Pan (possibly due to blown head gasket mixing oil/water it's possible that you've got an Oil pick-up partially clogged and restricts Oil Flow/Pressure until it's thinner. Does your Guage-needle move normally with RPM or does it tend to hang-up at tops occassionally? Thanks on the Spoiler ...came with the car, I believe it's the lower profile Wings West.
