The RB25 swap is the more common swap because it is a bit easier. The tranny needs no modification as does the RB26. Everybody swears by the VG and I agree it is a great motor with big potential, if you work on it yourself. That motor is very hard to work on and needs a lot of money because everything is doubled.
Ya its tricky. The mounts have to be fabricated, no way around it. When its done I'll let u know what the story is. And yes, the RB is easier to work on and was built for racing.
you should do a how 2 that would be nice... make a list of all the things you got and take a pic of the bottom and the suports, cuz i want to do the same RB, is lighter then VGs
