The car that started it all. 96 chevy cavalier, 5spd 2.2l. Deceptively beastly in its acceleration off the line. Looking back there are actually very few cars that could outperform it in the area. The usual crowd of hondas and acuras came to realize that this wasn't just another POS car. far from fast, but faster then the (other lol) ricers at the time. This car actually kept neck and neck off the line til about 50mph with my friends 50th ae z31. looking back i would actually buy another as a daily driver but splurge for the z24 model. after being youndg and without enough money to fix after a spun rod bearing i sold this car.
